careersanalyst.com is operated by careersanalyst.com. This policy explains what personal data we handle and why. Contact us through the contact form on this website.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, country, and a protected (hashed) form of your password. Career data: the CV you upload, the profile built from it, an optional photo, job descriptions you add, and the CVs and cover letters created for you. Technical data: your IP address and browser type when you log in or submit a form, and a record of account events such as logins. Messages you send us through the contact form or waitlist.

How we use it

To provide the service: reading your CV, matching it with jobs, and writing documents for you. To keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, and send you service emails such as password resets.

AI processing

To analyse your CV and jobs and to write documents, the relevant text is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, through its API. We send only what a task needs. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Your data and files are stored on our own server, hosted by Contabo. Uploaded files are kept in a private folder and are not publicly accessible. Email is sent through our email provider.

How long we keep it

Until you delete it. You can delete your uploaded CV, photo, jobs, CVs and letters individually, or delete your whole account from Settings, which removes your profile, documents and files. Backups are overwritten within [NUMBER] days.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can see and correct your data in your account, delete it, and ask us for a copy or with any question through the contact form. Depending on your country you may have further rights under local data protection law.
